Healthcare Assistant

Thorpe Wood Care Home is seeking a warm, compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team. You’ll play an essential role in supporting residents with kindness, dignity, and respect—helping to create a homely, uplifting environment where every individual feels valued. What You’ll Do
You’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care that enhances residents’ comfort, independence, and wellbeing. Daily duties include assisting with personal care, mobility, mealtimes, and general support, as well as offering companionship and reassurance—particularly for those living with dementia. You’ll also help maintain a safe, clean environment and communicate any changes in residents’ needs to senior staff.

• Previous care experience is helpful but not essential — full training is provided
