What You’ll Do
You’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care that enhances residents’ comfort, independence, and wellbeing. Daily duties include assisting with personal care, mobility, mealtimes, and general support, as well as offering companionship and reassurance—particularly for those living with dementia. You’ll also help maintain a safe, clean environment and communicate any changes in residents’ needs to senior staff.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional care
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential — full training is provided

You’ll oversee the night care team, ensuring all residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and professionalism. This includes supporting with personal care, monitoring wellbeing throughout the night, completing accurate documentation, and responding promptly to any changes or concerns. You’ll also help maintain a clean, comfortable environment and uphold Fortava’s high standards of care and safety.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Senior Carer or strong Care Assistant ready to step up
- Confidence in care documentation
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and guide the night team
- A calm, compassionate approach and commitment to outstanding resident care
