The home offers 83 spacious en-suite bedrooms, all beautifully decorated and furnished to create a comfortable and homely atmosphere. Thoughtfully designed throughout, Wilford View provides a safe, enriching environment that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being for every resident.
The home is arranged across three individual care suites — Trent, Castle, and Robin Hood — each carefully tailored to support different levels of care needs while maintaining a strong sense of community. Every suite includes its own lounge, quiet lounge, and dining area, providing inviting spaces where residents can socialise, relax, dine, or unwind.
Wilford View has a strong community feel, with a focus on ensuring every resident feels valued, supported, and part of an extended family.Additional facilities at Wilford View Care Home include landscaped sensory gardens with comfortable seating areas, a cinema room, hairdressing and beauty salon, and an on-site café, all designed to enhance daily life and promote meaningful experiences for residents.
Tabish Syed
Tabish joined Fortava in 2024 and quickly established himself as a talented and compassionate leader. After making a significant impact as Deputy Manager at Thorpe Wood, his commitment, hard work and natural leadership saw him progress to become Home Manager at Wilford View.
Tab leads with a calm and patient approach, building strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues and taking the time to understand what matters to each individual. He is passionate about creating a home where residents receive exceptional, person-centred care and where colleagues feel supported, valued and encouraged to develop.
His positive attitude, strong values and genuine commitment to those around him make him a highly respected leader within Fortava.
