Thorpe Wood
Thorpe Wood Care Home opened in 2019. Located in Peterborough, the home is purpose-built for people living with dementia.
Thorpe Wood is designed around four individual households and combines a warm and hospitable atmosphere with up-to-date facilities, including 50 large bedrooms with wet rooms.
It is our belief that people living with dementia should not have to live in secure wings or floors. That’s why our Thorpe Wood households have been carefully designed to create a safe, familiar, and unrestricted atmosphere where residents and staff know one another.
The home overlooks Thorpe Wood Golf Course and offers direct access to Ferry Meadows and Bluebell Woods. Plus, our safari-themed garden is a spectacular sight for residents and members of the public to enjoy.
The home accommodates those needing residential care, nursing care, dementia care, and dementia nursing care.
