The home is just a 14-minute walk from the city centre and has a large garden for residents to enjoy throughout the year.

Rakesh (Ricky) brings over seven years of experience in the healthcare sector, with a background that spans both clinical care and commercial strategy. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry before moving into frontline care, holding roles including Healthcare Assistant, Head of Activities, and Deputy Manager. This diverse journey has shaped his holistic approach to person-centred care.
With master’s degrees in pharmacy and healthcare business management, Ricky blends clinical knowledge with leadership and operational insight. He is passionate about integrated care that supports both physical and mental wellbeing and is committed to continuous learning to drive high standards in care delivery.
Lauren Johnson-Smith
Lauren is a highly skilled Cognitive Outcomes Lead with a strong background in neuroscience. She plays a pivotal role in bridging clinical insight with day-to-day resident engagement, working closely with both the care and activities team to ensure the delivery of advanced cognitive stimulation techniques.
In her role, Lauren leads on outcome measurement, capturing meaningful data on each resident’s cognitive performance, mood, and engagement.
